A Reliable and Simple Solution for Extending HDMI Up to 1000 feet (300m)
The HDMI 1.3 Over One Fiber Extender is a complete solution for extending HDMI, RS-232 and IR up to 1000 feet (300 meters) over a single SC terminated multimode fiber optic cable. The product supports 3DTV and all HDMI 1.3 features including Full HD 1080p, Deep Color, Lip Sync, and CEC. The system also supports all high resolution multichannel audio formats including 7.1 LPCM, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio.
The use of fiber optic technology eliminates signal delays between Sender/Receiver units, and provides immunity from electromagnetic interference (EMI). Full 3DTV and HDMI 1.3 support help to deliver a great home theater experience. Other features such as the IR back channel and RS-232 serial control are also carried over the single fiber optic cable providing convenient control of remotely located video sources.

How It Works
The Sender unit is connected to the HDMI source with the included 6 foot HDMI cable, and the Receiver unit is connected to the HDMI display with a user supplied cable. A single strand of SC terminated multi mode fiber optic cable connects the Sender and Receiver units. RS-232 cables and optional IR control accessories are also connected in a similar fashion at the Sender and Receiver locations. Plug in the included power supplies and crisp, vibrant high-definition picture will appear on the HDTV display.
